Description
Topic-Based Tabulations are cross-tabulations on census topics, available for various level of geography. Topic-based tabulations exist since 2001 and replace the «Nation Series», the «Dimension Series» and the «Basic Summary Tables Series» of previous censuses.

Topic-based tabulations categorise into 14 unique topics and allowing manipulation of the variables. The tabulations are available for various levels of geography, excluding dissemination areas. Some will provide a simple overview of the country; others will consist of three or four cross-tabulated variables; and other will be of special or analytic interest. - Census Topic - only for Dissemination Area (DA), CMA (mobility) and CS (Commuting Flow)
